bam4u.com – an e-mail address for the moment.
Sign-ups, downloads, newsletters nobody wants to read: most services demand an e-mail address they don't deserve. bam4u hands visitors a working throwaway address in one click – messages arrive in real time, and unlike classic burner tools the mailbox persists, so users can come back to it later. We built the product front end and its mailbox integration.

What we built
A real inbox, not a dead drop
We rebuilt a full mailbox experience inside WordPress, backed by a dedicated mail API.
One-click address
A fresh address is generated instantly – no registration, no personal data. New mails appear in the inbox in real time.
Persistent mailboxes
A token in the browser lets users return to the same inbox later – rare among disposable-mail tools, where addresses usually die after minutes.
Four languages
German, French, Italian and English – built for the Swiss market and international audiences alike, with Swiss data-protection wording (revDSG & GDPR).
Developer API
A REST API creates and reads mailboxes programmatically – for QA pipelines, sign-up testing and automation.
How the platform works
Protecting an inbox in three steps
Generate
Opening bam4u.com puts a throwaway address at the top of the page, ready to copy with one click.
Use it anywhere
Register, download, confirm – incoming mail shows up in the live inbox within seconds, with a safe HTML view.
Walk away or come back
The address can simply expire, or the mailbox can be reopened later via the browser token. The real inbox stays clean either way.
Plans
Freemium, ready for a premium tier
We built the plan structure and the pricing page so our client can switch on a paid tier when the time comes – the free service stays the entry point.

Under the hood
WordPress front, mail engine back
The front end is a Divi-based WordPress site; every mailbox interaction goes through a server-side REST proxy we built, so API credentials never reach the browser.
The mail engine itself is a separate Node.js service that owns addresses, tokens and message storage. This split keeps the marketing site and the product surface flexible while the engine stays small and hardened.
The service is freemium, with a premium tier (multiple mailboxes, longer retention, custom domains, forwarding) in preparation. We built the product; our client runs the service.
