marken-kanzlei.ch – an early-warning system for Swiss trademarks.
Being registered does not mean being protected: anyone can file an identical or confusingly similar word mark, and the trademark office will neither reject it automatically nor warn the owner. marken-kanzlei.ch closes that gap – it watches the Swiss register permanently and alerts brand owners before a conflict becomes expensive. We designed and developed the platform for our client.

What we built
Four ways a mark can get too close
The engine we developed compares new Swiss word-mark filings against a monitored mark across four similarity dimensions – far beyond a simple name match.
Exact matches
The identical name is filed again. In the platform's free tier this is covered permanently, with a monthly register sweep.
Phonetic twins
Different spelling, same sound: FoneTech vs. PhoneTek. The engine compares vowel patterns, syllables and pronunciation.
Recombined word parts
TechVision becomes VisionTech: prefixes, suffixes and word stems are decomposed and re-checked in every combination.
Same meaning
Sonnenstrahl vs. Solarlicht – conceptual similarity across German, French, Italian and English, powered by an LLM pipeline we implemented.
How the platform works
From filing to warning in three steps
Daily register sync
New word-mark applications from the Swiss register are imported and enriched automatically every day.
AI similarity scoring
Each new filing is scored against every monitored mark – spelling, sound, structure and meaning – with an LLM double-checking the borderline cases.
Early warning
If a filing comes too close, the brand owner is alerted by e-mail, and in the paid plan also via SMS, Slack, Telegram or webhook – while an objection is still cheap and easy.
Marken-Radar
An interactive demo as a lead magnet
We built a public demo that shows in 30 seconds how close other signs could come to a visitor's word mark – the same logic that powers the paid monitoring, turned into a marketing tool.

Under the hood
Built the PANART way
The whole site is generated programmatically: structured JSON content is provisioned into WordPress/Divi through a custom REST pipeline we developed, so every page stays reproducible and version-controlled in git.
Behind the marketing site we built a monitoring engine with a daily register sync, an LLM enrichment pipeline for similarity analysis and a four-language content system (German, French, Italian, English). Subscription checkout was integrated with Stripe.
The platform addresses Swiss companies, with plans ranging from a free exact-match watch up to full similarity coverage for law firms and multi-brand owners. We built and handed over the platform; our client runs it.
See it live
Watch the mark, not the register.
