link2cart – one link, full cart.
Every extra click between a campaign and the checkout costs conversions. link2cart turns any URL into a filled Shopify cart: the link carries the SKU and quantity, the app resolves the products and drops the shopper directly at cart or checkout. No pre-saving links, no app scripts in the storefront, no detours. The app is currently being developed at PANART.

The idea
The URL is the cart
A link like /apps/link2cart/add?items=ABC-123:2,DEF-456:1 resolves the SKUs live via the Shopify API, adds the variants and redirects to the cart – stateless, nothing to prepare.
What it will do
Built for campaigns, not for developers
Anyone who can copy a URL will be able to build a cart link – in a newsletter, behind a QR code or in a partner deal.
Stateless links
SKU and quantity live in the URL itself: add?sku=ABC-123&qty=2 – or several items at once. Nothing has to be saved beforehand.
Live SKU resolution
The app resolves SKUs through the Shopify Admin API at click time, so links keep working when product IDs change.
Conversion tracking
Anonymous per-sender tracking (sender_id in the link) shows which campaign or partner actually fills carts – without cookies.
Four languages
Merchant UI, storefront bridge and error messages in Swiss German, French, Italian and English – with in-app documentation.
How it will work
From campaign link to checkout in three steps
Compose the link
Take the app-proxy URL of the shop and append SKUs and quantities – by hand, in a spreadsheet or generated by a campaign tool.
Shopper clicks
link2cart resolves the SKUs live, shows a lightweight storefront bridge and adds the variants to the cart via Shopify's native cart API.
Straight to checkout
The shopper lands on the filled cart or directly in the checkout – and the click is attributed to the sender that brought it.
Under the hood
Shared-hosting friendly by design
link2cart is a Shopify public app built to run on ordinary shared hosting: PHP 8.2+ with MariaDB, no Node runtime in production. Deployment happens through GitHub – the hosting account simply pulls from main, the same push-to-deploy model we use in all our projects.
The app implements the full Shopify app lifecycle: OAuth install flow, app proxy, GDPR webhooks and automatic database migrations after the OAuth callback.
Launch is in preparation – details will appear here once the app goes live.
